Integrated Engineering VAG 4 cylinder CNC billet main bearing blocks made from tool steel
Made in USA
For extreme performance over 1000 hp
For 16V, 1.8T and 2.0TFSI engines, it is important to reinforce the crankshaft drive from an output of 500 hp.
The original main bearing blocks are cast from a coarse-pored steel. At higher power, engine speed and particularly high boost pressure, the load on the main bearing blocks is so high that the original cast bearing blocks start to crack or even break through completely.
Conclusion:
The crankshaft is no longer stable and tears out of the engine block.
This leads to total engine damage.
