1.8T 20V Wiseco Forged Piston ArmorPlating - For VW/Audi high performance engines
The 1.8T 20V Wiseco forged piston set is the perfect choice for engines from 300 hp that have to cope with higher boost pressures and extreme conditions. Made from a high-strength aluminum alloy, these pistons are significantly lighter, stronger and more temperature resistant than stock pistons. The **Wiseco ArmorPlating** coating offers additional protection against wear and extends the service life of the pistons, which is particularly beneficial for heavily tuned engines.
The compression ratio is reduced to 8.5:1 and therefore offers ideal conditions for high boost pressures of up to 3.5 bar.
Thanks to the wider webs between the piston rings (5-8 mm), the pistons are particularly stable and resistant to extreme loads.
These properties make them ideal for high-performance engines in motorsport or ambitious tuning projects.
