VAG ARP HEAVY DUTY bolt for flywheel

The VAG ARP HEAVY DUTY bolt is a high-strength M10x1 bolt made of molybdenum steel, specially developed for mounting the flywheel to the crankshaft. It is indispensable for tuned engines, as it transmits significantly higher torques to the crankshaft.

Properties:

• High-strength ARP screw made from molybdenum steel
• Suitable for many VW 4-cylinder engines such as G40, G60, 16V, 1.8T, TDI, etc.
• Reusable
• Longer than standard bolts for improved safety

Installation instructions:

• Apply Loctite 242 (blue/medium-strength) to the threads.
• Apply ARP Ultra Torque Paste under the screw head.
• Tighten the screws hand-tight only.
• Then tighten crosswise to 95 Nm.

Application range:

• 6 bolts for most VW & Audi 4-cylinder engines built up to 2008.
