    ECUMASTER EMU Classic

Our goal at ECUMASTER is to offer the best possible products at an affordable price. The new EMU Classic is proof of our commitment to this goal. We have improved the design of the EMU based on customer feedback and kept the price at a similar level.

The main improvements are as follows:

    • Improved ignition outputs allowing the use of more than one active coil on an output.
    • Separate +5V output regulator for external sensors,
    • Highly protected H-bridges (step outputs),
    • Galvanically isolated USB connection,
    • Compact CNC-milled, black anodized housing (147 x 62 x 30 mm compared to 155 x 120 x 45 mm)
    • Both EMU and EMU CLASSIC use the same firmware and software package.

EMU Classic is designed to operate the most advanced and complex engines currently available. The EMU CLASSIC controls fuel, ignition and auxiliary systems on 1-12 cylinder engines, including engines with drive-by-wire chokes 1 and VVT.

Customizable firmware allows the most cumbersome crank trigger patterns to be used, allowing future testing for new patterns that have not yet been released.
It can directly control up to 6 passive or 12 intelligent coils and does not require external amplifier/power modules to do so. Sophisticated drive-by-wire strategies provide a wide range of throttle control as well as advanced plausibility checks (faults / errors) for safety.
The EMU offers more integrated value than any other aftermarket ECU.

It easily adapts the functionality of other stand-alone management systems with multiple inputs and outputs.
Unlike many other ECU systems, the EMU has a wideband lambda input (Bosch LSU 4.2-Sensorkabel direct), a MAP control port (4-bar MAP sensor on board), 2 EGT probe inputs and an input for direct connection of a Flex Fuel ethanol content sensor .
All of this provides greater flexibility, reduces costs and eliminates the requirement for external or additional signal conditioning systems and associated cabling that other management systems require.
Map switching, launch control, adaptive lambda control, flex fuel and wheel slip control are among the options available.
