With a massive 425mm x 621mm x 70mm bar & fin core, this intercooler delivers a 137% larger cooling surface than the stock component. The FDS (Flow Distribution System) ensures that the entire cooling surface is used efficiently, reducing intake air temperatures by up to 74% and ensuring constant power output even under intensive use.

Why is an upgrade necessary?

The factory intercoolers are designed for standard performance and fail in high-performance setups. This leads to heat build-up, reduced engine performance and poorer response. The IE FDS intercooler eliminates these problems by keeping the charge air constantly cool and reducing pressure loss by 9% compared to OEM.

Note: 2022+ MK8 & 8Y models may require slight modifications to the plastic radiator cover
