The forged pistons are recommended from an output of 350 hp.

Thanks to the high-quality aluminum alloy, the pistons are lighter, more stable, more temperature-resistant and can withstand higher loads than standard pistons.

The compression is reduced.This means that significantly higher pressures can be achieved than with the standard pistons. Even excessively high boost pressures of up to 3.5 bar are no problem with a sensible tuning and corresponding engine setup.

It should also be noted that the webs between the piston rings are 5-8 mm wide (instead of only 3-5 mm as with other pistons).

This is crucial at high boost pressure.
