With the exhaust housings for Garrett turbochargers, you have the option of customizing the turbocharger according to your own ideas.
This is particularly useful if you want to adapt the turbocharger for an engine with a different cubic capacity and different A/R values, for example.
You can also fit housings with different flanges.
The exhaust housing can be easily removed by loosening the V-band clamp.
