1.8T block stiffening plate including ARP main bearing stud bolts

The plate is required to stiffen the crankshaft drive.
This is particularly important for powerful engines, as the crankshaft twists too much and the bearing races are subjected to very high tensile loads.
The stiffening plate is bolted to the main bearing blocks using special sleeves, thereby stiffening the crankshaft drive and engine block.

Theconsequences of a non-stiffened crank drive are major engine damage such as:
Breakage of the crankshaft
Bursting of the engine block
Connecting rod damage

ARP Stud bolts in special length + screws Paste
Spacer sleeves
Longer oil pan screws
Longer oil pump chain
