The CTS Turbo intercooler kit has been specially developed as a direct replacement for the OEM intercooler of the Golf 5 & 6 with 2.0TFSI EA113 engine. Thanks to the high-quality bar & plate design, this intercooler significantly reduces pressure losses and provides improved cooling of the charge air - perfect for performance-enhanced vehicles.

Why an intercooler upgrade?

The standard intercooler is designed for standard performance, but quickly reaches its limits with increased boost pressure. Excessively high intake air temperatures lead to boost cut and ignition angle reduction, which reduces the engine's performance. With the CTS Turbo intercooler, the charge air temperatures remain constantly low so that the engine's full performance potential can be exploited.
