These main bearing studs are manufactured to exacting tolerances, heat treated, centerless ground and rolled to ensure consistent clamping force and durability.

Only premium grade 8740 alloy with a 190,000 psi tensile strength material is used, far superior to "aircraft grade" steel alloys.
Studs allow for easy installation of cylinder heads and gaskets, eliminating the need for alignment

These ARP studs are ideal for racing engines.

Suitable for:
- Audi quattro year: 1989 - 1991
- Audi S2 quattro year: 1992 - 1996
- Audi RS2 quattro year: 1994 - 1995

Note:
These stud bolts do not fit into the crankcase of the 3B and AAN.
The 3B and AAN engine requires longer stud bolts with 102 mm.
