The TTE440 hybrid turbocharger was specially developed for transverse-mounted VAG 1.8T engines and offers an enormous increase in power of up to 440 hp. Based on the original BorgWarner K04-064 turbocharger, this turbocharger has been modified to meet the requirements of high-performance engines. The use of the 2871X TTE billet impeller in combination with the 9-blade high-performance turbine ensures improved airflow and significantly reduced exhaust backpressure.
