The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler has a new type of competition mesh (tube fin) with the dimensions 600 mm x 167 [101] mm x 125 [90] mm [gestuft]. This corresponds to an external net volume of 11.14 liters. The WagnerTuning Competition intercooler for the Polo GTI therefore offers a 24 % larger frontal airflow area and 73 % more external mesh volume compared to the original intercooler.

The cast aluminium end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized with the aid of CFD simulations (for an ideal internal airflow). The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. This kit is therefore just right for racing. Optimum cooling of the supercharged air with a significant increase in performance!

An anti-corrosion coating with excellent heat conduction properties protects the WAGNERTUNING intercoolers from any environmental influences, as a result of which a long-lasting and optimum cooling effect can be guaranteed. Installation is carried out at the original fixing points and is easy to perform (plug and play). All our products are subject to constant quality control.
