The turbochargers with the abbreviation EFR (Engineered For Racing) from BorgWarner offer an unprecedented combination of advanced technologies

The EFR 6258 is the smallest EFR turbocharger in the range. Ideal for small engines in single or twin-turbo configurations, this is an excellent turbocharger for autocross, rally, drifting, road racing and street driving. The 62 mm OD supercharger has a 49.6 mm inducer with a maximum flow rate of 44 lb/min - supporting up to 440 hp.

The Gamma-Ti turbine wheel with a low moment of inertia of 58 mm is optimally tuned for early response and fast spool-up.

EFR 6258 uses the smallest EFR compressor housing that can be installed in the tightest engine compartments. Ideal for use in single-turbo applications for the 260-440 hp range, or as twin-turbo applications 400-550 hp

• Double seals at turbine and compressor end for extreme durability and resistance to oil ingress
