1.8 20V Turbo forged pistons from JE Pistons

The forged pistons are recommended from an output of 300 hp.

Thanks to the high-quality aluminum alloy, the pistons are lighter, more stable, more temperature-resistant and can withstand higher loads than standard pistons.

The compression is reduced.
As a result, significantly higher pressures can be achieved than with the standard pistons.
Even excessively high boost pressures of up to 3.5 bar are no problem with a sensible tuning and corresponding engine setup.
It should also be mentioned that the webs between the piston rings are 5-8 mm wide (instead of only 3-5 mm as with other pistons).
This is crucial at high boost pressures.
